Did you know that Yahoo has signed a global agreement with Google to display its Adds on its selected properties and co-branded sites?
This does no however mean that Yahoo will be swallowed by Google so to speak.The site will continue tom showcase its Ads from such competitors such as Michrosoft Bing and the rest.
Commending on this development Alex Fender who is a Google certified marketing consultant ha dthis to say; “This is good for the community as a whole. Google AdWords is simply a superior platform.”Alex is also the president of Internet marketing company Funnel Science.
He went on to state that Google’s main advantage is in the fact that it has greater volume of adverts coming through their site which places it at an advantageous point over their competitors.Commenting on this mater,he had this to say,
In the deal,Google is to expect Yahoo to supply them with some of the unsold inventory while in exchange google is to advertise some of its products on Yahoo sites.Using Adsense ,the ads are to offer relevant advertisements to individual sites.
A google spokesman commenting on the same stated this,
“We work with a number of top publishers to help them monetize their content through AdSense for Content and AdMob. We’re thrilled to now include Yahoo.”
The purpose of this move is to help Yahoo expand its networks.This is emphasized by the official statement given by one of the key officials of the site.
“Say you’ve been shopping for boots. If you see an ad for boots, that’s instantly going to pique your attention more than an ad for, say, a car battery. That’s better for users,”
