What is Mobile Legends: Bang Bang?
Mobile legends bang bang also know as ML or MLBB is a multiplayer online battle arena game by Moontoon, a subsidiary of Bytedance. This game was release in 2016 and very popular worldwide mostly in the southeast asia region. It has more then 1 billion downloads and about 100 million active players monthly. By 2021 it has achieved gross US$1 billion, where 44% from outside of asia, and the top mobile game of its category.
Mobile legends bang bang is a game design for mobile phone. Its a free to play game, with in game mobile purchase of characters and skins of characters. Each player will need to control a characters called hero with unique abilities and traits. There are 6 roles in each different heroes, they are, tank, marksman, assassin, fighter, mage and support. Players need to set specific build for their heroes with in-game item and emblem.
Game Play: Arcade and classic
Two teams with 5 players each will go against each other in real time. Each players will me paired among players within their rank. There is a total of 7 different rank in a rank mode game. They are, warrior, elite, master, grandmaster, epic, legend, mythic. Players who are paired within their respective rank will need to fight their opponents so that they can climb higher rank.
To win against the opponents you need to take down opponents base. The two team will be either the red or blue team. There are 3 different lane in a map, top lane (gold lane), mid lane, and bottom lane (exp lane). Between each lane there is the jungle, and the jungle is divided into 4 part. 2 part in front of the red team base and 2 more part in front of the blue team base. In the different parts of the jungle there are different creeps and monsters that offer buffs, experience, and gold.
In each lane there is 3 tiers of defend system called turret before you can reach opponent base. In order to reach the opponent base player, need to plan how to take down the turret one by one to reach the opponent base in order to win the whole game. The turret will start to defend when hero start to go near them. In order to take down the turret heroes need help of the minions so the hero can take down the turret easily. Minions will constantly be spawn at the base of each team and will travel down along each lane. In order to stand a higher chance to win the opponent, each players need to slowly take down the turret one by one and slowly march forward till they reach opponent base.
However, in the classic mode, the game play will still be the same but any winning or losing in the game wont affect any ranking. So, basically there will be no limit within this mode, among hero or player from different ranks can still play together as one.
