This new gadget has been revealed at the IFA Tech Show, 2014 in Berlin. With this new Smartphone Samsung is expecting to revive their market share as it has been going downward since the middle of the last year. At the same time its Smartphone rivals like Motorola, Lenovo, Huawei & Xiaomi had enjoyed extended market shares. As a result of which, many executives from Samsung had agreed to return some part of their bonuses.

Samsung haven’t come up with their usual Smartphone to regain its expected business profit. This new kit has a unique characteristic that has never been seen before. Screen of the Galaxy Note Edge bends around its right side. It means it is a device with a bent display with highly sleek looking that buyers will have a hard time not to stare at it. This unique addition to the Smartphone is certainly to be giving an advantage edge for Samsung, as they have done a wonderful job by figuring out when to expose the panel & when to hide it.

It lays flat, but the screen get curved to a right side downward slope of the handset. Using this side of the screen, one will have the access to quick functions, get a view of notifications and some useful widgets with just one touch. Samsung claim that the whole point of wrapping the handset screen around its right side is to offer a total unique way for the users to access frequently used widgets and apps and alerts. It seems to be quite useful at times when the flat portion of the screen will be obscured by a safety protective cover. Users will feel it like a scrollable dock or toolbar which can be functioned with just a swipe of a thumb.

The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has 5.7″ Super AMOLED screen just like the Galaxy Note 3. But its resolution has now been enhanced to 1440 by 2516 at pixels of 518 per inch; up from 1080 by 1920 at 386ppi. It also offers 2.7GHz quad core processor with 3GB of RAM and 32/64GB of internal memory with MicroSD card support system. Another exclusive feature about it is that it has 16 megapixel camera with the smart OIS and paired with a 3.7 megapixel camera upfront. In the first time for a Samsung handset, it has camera sports optical image with a view to reduce the chance of the photos being blurry even your hands always shake capturing a photo. And there is always the S Pen stylus to let you doodle and write with even more precision.

Despite being all these mouth watering features and offerings, Samsung have been truly expecting the Curved Display to be the most selling point. It has been in news that Samsung Galaxy Note Edge will be launched in Frost White and Charcoal Bank later this year, though price and specific career have yet to be published.
